He’s an asshole, and the only thing more offensive to me than his shit talking on the great Vin Scully was his large donation to the Yes on 8 campaign. His retirement speech is vague, rambling, and not too thought out.
However he was a great baseball player and seeing a grown man choking back tears always gets me. I’m glad he’s leaving though… Blake DeWitt on second base!
