This Zine Sucks #1. late 1995. Wow, my very first venture into zine making. Kurt Periolat (Ford Prefect in the zines, named after a Hitchhikers Guide character) was my buddy at Pier records and we decided to do a zine one day. I ended up doing most of the work down the line but in this issue he acually contributed a bunch of reviews and stuff. Nick Soderburg helped me interview Pansy Division, well really he did the interview after we both came up with questions. Back then I had to interview bands with camcorders. I dont know how I ever got up the courage to interview Supernova, I was so shy back then. But it ended up in a cool fan/friendship that lasts even today when i see them around town.

I was obsessed with space because of Supernova and you can really see my dorkiness shining through a lot here.

Everything was done on a photocopy machine and a typewriter, excpet for Kurt's stuff that he printed out at Kinkos. punk fuckin' rock.
